Goals:
The research in my lab focuses on investigating neural mechanisms underlying essential cognitive control functions, such as visual attention, decision-making, and reward learning, and on developing novel and innovative approaches to improve our understanding and enhance these essential functions.​

What is the circuit organization in the frontoparietal network that mediates different cognitive control functions? How do different cortical areas within this network interact with each other?

To what extent can we endogenously control different functional groups of neurons within the frontoparietal network? What is their impact on behavior?
